A: It’s easy to apply. Simply visit our Tutors Overview page and then click “Become a Tutor Now.” Fill out the short tutor application and a representative will reach out to you for additional information.

Q: What are the requirements to become a tutor?

A: Our tutors typically have a four-year degree in the subject they wish to teach, but rare exceptions are made based on a demonstrated level of expertise in high-demand subjects. You must also pass a criminal background check in order to ensure the safety of our students.

Q: What are the benefits of tutoring for EasyTutor.com?

A: Most importantly, your experience and knowledge will help make a difference in a student’s learning process. On top of that, you’ll be able to create your own flexible schedule and earn extra money when you have availability. All you need is a high-speed internet connection and a passion for teaching.

Q: How will I be connected to a student?

A: We will match you up with students based on the subjects you teach. When a tutoring session is scheduled, a link will be sent to you and to the student, directing you both to the online whiteboard. This digital whiteboard has audio capabilities between the student and the tutor, as well as written and collaborative drawing communication and document sharing.

Q: What kind of training and support will I receive as a tutor?

A: We have a specialized training program that you will be required to complete before facilitating tutoring sessions. We will ensure you are comfortable with the online digital platform and delivery system before you interact with the student.  Regular evaluations will ensure high-quality sessions are consistently delivered.

Q: What kind of compensation can I expect as a tutor?

A: Pay is dependent on experience, but overall, we have some of the highest pay levels in the tutoring industry. Our tutors are paid on a bi-weekly basis.
